5 enormous screens. A fifth screen was added the summer of 2016. The digital projectors provide very high quality. You use your own stereo car speakers for sound or bring a boom box.
Friday and Saturday showings can be sold out, especially for children's movies. Arrive an hour early. They have a small miniature golf course in front of screen #1.
I was so glad to see there are still places to go to a drive-in. It was my first one ever and I was not disappointed! They do double features which is an amazing deal. They have a snack bar in walking distance or you can stop there. It was dark when we went but hopefully next time we will check the whole place out more. :)
If your car battery dies, they'll provide a small radio and jump you after the movie is over.
Very nice drive in theatre, lots of spots to park, ticket lines move pretty quick. Good variety of concessions. Good movie selections, especially the retro movies. Met the proprietor a couple times, he seems like a really nice guy. Never had a bad time here although you do have to be really careful when driving to your screen as people walk around.
I was excited to go to my first drive in theater but we were having issues trying to turn off certain lights on a newer vehicle. So as we are trying to figure it out one of the staff members, an older gentleman came over on a Segway and was plain rude. We apologized for the lights, and he was condescending and talking in a rude manner. We purposely sat in silence listening to other people's radios to prevent having to turn on the car. We told him we weren't intentionally doing this and his response was "the best way to not intentionally do it is to not do it." He said let me try, then all he did was turn off the vehicle. When we expressed we we're trying to run the vehicle so the battery wouldn't die, he said "there's thousands of cars here a weekend and you don't see any abandoned here do you". Very unprofessional.
I've been going to this drive-in since I was a kid. I love it here. The food is a little pricey but delish! They always show more than one movie and sometimes there is even 3 movies being shown. The movies that they show are recent and sometimes they show some older ones too. They have some screens that show kids movies and some that are for adults. The parking lot is always clean when I come and so are the bathrooms.
